As Texas high school hoops nears the start of their season teams are starting to shape up. Crestfest served as one of the last fall league settings and it surely wasn't a disappointment. Major state title contenders showed their new rosters as the elite high school players flexed the skills the garnered their rankings. Hillcrest High School was so packed with talent we had to split this article into two. 

Skyline High School

Junior Ed'Xavior Rhodes is a slender 6-8 forward oozing with versatility. He’s a natural perimeter player but has a serious inside game at the high school level. He shot 40% on 5 attempts from three while showing off a sharp acumen for finding the open man. On the defensive side, he guards the field showing off his post defense against a strong 6-10 center. He’s an active rebounder looking to push the ball in transition.
 
Senior Damarcus Johnson is a traditional power forward that uses his size to create space down low. Not an explosive athlete but a strong one that’s evident in the way he moves. Though
