There are many talented players. Sometimes it takes more than just skills to gain a competitive edge. Being a quality student athlete means competing on and off the court. It’s quite simple, the higher the GPA and test scores, the more college scholarship opportunities available. In this article PH takes a look at some of the top academic performers in Nevada Prep Basketball.

Triston Scott 6'3 SG Spring Valley 2022 GPA: 3.8 - Scott's a good combination player/student. He begins his sophomore year as a sharpshooter for a talented Spring Valley squad. Good size for his position, he's on the right track with his 3.8 GPA.

Robel Negasi 6’3 SF Las Vegas 2021 GPA: 3.4 - Negasi is a talented forward, poised to have a big year for the Wildcats. A dedicated student with a solid GPA. If he continues to improve on the court and in the classroom, he'll make a nice small school pickup.

Jaydyn Dalton 6'0 SG Spring Valley 2021 GPA: 3.7 - Dalton is a double sleeper for me. A natural shooter, that releases it effortlessly from range. A 3.7 student, expect Dalton to be a key part of that aforementioned talented Spring Valley squad.
