1. 2020 – Colin Radcliffe – Shooting Guard – Living Water Christian
Colin Radcliffe was a standout prospect once again at Big Shots Wilmington this past weekend. A lot like his performance in Big Shots Raleigh, Radcliffe was the top performer once again with his ability to adjust in two close games. He finished with five made 3-pointers and showed off his growing confidence as a slasher with the ball by getting to the rim and finishing in traffic. He had a number of tough finishes in the paint and in the midrange where he used his 6-foot-5 frame well to make things happen.
2. 2022 – James Wilkins III – Point Guard – Calvary Day School
James Wilkins III was impressive as a floor general at Big Shots Wilmington this past weekend. Wilkins is a crafty ball handler that finishes strong and with tons of athleticism at the rim and is quite the underrated shooter as well. He works well out of the pick and roll and is learning how to be effective as a passer. On defense, he’s a strong defender and does well to make his presence known. He’s a prospect college coaches want to get eyes on.
3. 2020 – Jamison Long – Guard – Topsail
Jamison Long showed poise with his ability to adjust as a combo guard at Big Shots Wilmington. He can shoot the 3-ball well as he did at the event this past weekend with eight made 3-pointers, but he also showed he can space the floor and get his teammates shots as well. He’s got a good feel on the floor and nice size at 5-foot-11. He’s due for a solid season at Topsail High School.
4. 2022 – Isaiah Williams – Forward – Porter Ridge
Isaiah Williams was a versatile forward prospect that stood out with his two-way abiities at Big Shots Wilmington. He’s got a nice frame and wingspan for his size at 6-foot-4 that he used well to defend the ball and rebound in the paint. On offense, he’s got a nice feel in the paint and a solid stroke from 3-point range. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on at Porter Ridge High School this high school season.
5. 2023 – Prashant Hill – Guard/Forward – Cannon School
Prashant Hill is a prospect that’s continued to turn heads here at Prep Hoops and did so once again this past weekend at Big Shots Wilmington. He’s a versatile prospect at 6-foot-6 that can operate inside and out with his ability to score on all three levels. He’s fearless in traffic and is a solid facilitator with the ball already and has good awareness on the defensive end. He’ll be a rising prospect to watch at The Cannon School.
6. 2021 – Bennie Brooks – Shooting Guard – East Carteret
Bennie Brooks was a consistent force at Big Shots Wilmington this past weekend with his ability to get to the rim and score in bunches all over the floor. Brooks put together an 18.0 points per game scoring average this past weekend, showing off his strength with the ball. As he learns to be an effective player on both ends, he’s a prospect with tons of room to grow at East Carteret.
7.2022 – Collin Tanner – Guard/Forward – South Granville
Collin Tanner was a standout scorer and defender at Big Shots Willmington. He’ll be an interesting prospect to track at South Granville with his ability to fill multiple roles on the floor. He can rebound the ball and push the pace on offense with his ability to get to the rim. He’s also quite the shooter from the perimeter when his feet are set and he’s balanced. As he adjusts to defensive pressure and learns to handle the ball, he’s a prospect with room to grow in the 2022 class.
8. 2023 – Ryan Mackinnon – Guard – Chapel Hill
Ryan Mackinnon has been a familiar face on the fall Big Shots circuit and for good reason. He’s a prospect with a solid IQ for creating for himself and others off the dribble. He showed off his budding ability on the hardwood with a 19-point and 11-point performance during the showcase games at Big Shots Wilmington. He’s got a solid future at Chapel Hill High School.
9. Kamran Prince – Guard – Norwayne Middle
Kamran Prince is only a member of the 2024 class, but he was a sign of things to come in North Carolina’s future class. Prince was an impressive performer with his ability to effect the game on both ends. He rebounded, blocked shots and drove to the basket on his way to the Big Shots Wilmington MVP award for his division and finished with a game-high 32 points along with the game-winning free throw in the final showcase game. He’s one to watch in the future class.
10. Bradlee Wolf – Forward – Topsail
A growing name on the Big Shots showcase circuit this fall was 2022 forward Bradlee Wolf. Wolf is a sleeping giant in the 2022 class of North Carolina. He’s got the ability to finish at the rim with authority and has a nice touch on his jump shot from the perimeter as well. As he learns to attack the rim out of the post and improves his footwork, he’s a prospect with a solid future at Topsail High School.
