Best Available: The South Atlantic
The South Atlantic Region continues to be a hot spot. DC, Virginia, Maryland, it’s where schools are finding talent. Today we run through the best available.
One. Cameron Thomas of Virginia. A long armed five star level 6-foot-3 guard from Oak Hill Academy who has recently visited UCLA, Auburn, and LSU. One of the best space creators in the nation.
Two. Hunter Dickinson of Maryland. A seven footer who was just at Notre Dame and will be at Duke next weekend for an official visit. Florida State and Michigan are the final four but some feel Juwan Howard could land a big target. We will see.
Three. Earl Timberlake of Maryland. A top 50 level talent (and growing) on the wing that recently named his final five of South Carolina, Miami, Seton Hall, Pitt and Providence. Recently visited Seton Hall officially.
Four. KD Johnson of Virginia. A 6-foot-1 point guard from Hargrave Military Academy that is originally from Georgia. Johnson’s most recent offer came from Georgia.
Five. Jamari Sibley of Virginia. The 6-foot-7 forward out of Wisconsin – now at Oak Hill Academy – is one of the nation’s best available athletes and he’s taken visits this fall to Minnesota, Iowa, and Georgetown.
Six. Marchelus Avery of Virginia. A 6-foot-7 wing that can be used just about in every way on the court, Avery is a top 175 player nationally.
Seven. Josiah Freeman of Virginia. A six-foot-4 wing out of Fairfax that can pretty much make shots from every spots on the floor and in just about any way a player can.
Eight. Jyare Davis of Delaware. Davis is a high level athlete that attacks the basket with explosion, Davis can be a two way terror. Won the Delaware Gatorade Player of the Year last season.
Nine. Dowar Jioklow of Virginia. Had a great 17u season with New World Gold, Jioklow’s activity makes him one of the most interesting players on this list. Dowar is a 6-foot-8 power forward.
Ten. David N’Guessan of Maryland. David is from the Netherlands originally but is now at Mt. Zion Prep making him one of best available talents from the state.
