Henry Coleman | 6’8” | Trinity Episcopal 2020
Recently committed to Duke, Coleman has been one of the most productive and athletic guys in Richmond over the past three seasons. He’s naturally strong and explosive as an athlete, he runs the floor and tries to dunk everything and he uses his athleticism to dominate the glass on both ends. What makes him so special is not just his athleticism, but the fact that he plays all out every time he’s on the floor and has one of the best motors in the state makes him so tough to guard.
Logan Washington | 6’6” | Life Christian 2020
One of the best and most unheralded defensive bigs in the state, Washington has a mix of length and athleticism that makes him a natural shot blocker and rebounder. He’s fearless in the paint as he’ll meet guys at the rim, and he’s extremely quick off his feet as he’s able to get back up to block multiple shots or rebound his own blocks. He’s a good finisher as well that can run the floor and hits the offensive glass as well.
James Wallace | 6’3” | Henrico 2020
A transfer from Lee-Davis that should give Henrico a big addition this year, Wallace is a natural athlete that has a solid skill set to go along with it as well. He runs the floor well and can finish above the rim, he can handle in transition and make plays for others and he’s a good rebounder at his position as well. He’s oozing with potential on the defensive end and has shown flashes of being a versatile defender as well.
Nigel Green | 6’4” | St. Christopher’s 2020
A two sport star at St. Chris as a wide receiver as well, Green is an explosive and long athlete that can play above the rim and guard multiple positions. He has an all out style that sometimes gets him into foul trouble, but it also allows him to make energy plays with put-backs and big blocks that feed through his team. His motor and energy is something you can’t teach and allows him to make winning plays that don’t always show up in the scorebook.
Shaun Kindred | 6’3” | Matoaca 2020
Kindred is an under the radar guy at Matoaca who plays mostly on the wing and thrives in transition with his athletic finishing ability. He has good strength and finishes well through contact, he finishes above the rim on fast breaks and he’s able to guard make hustle plays as well.
Sincere Clark | 6’5” | Meadowbrook 2020
One of the more underrated defenders in the Richmond area, Clark is a guy who is all over the rim and makes plays as a defender most simply can’t. He has great length and good leaping ability as he’s able to get way up on the glass, he can run the floor and catch and finish above the rim and he isn’t afraid to do the dirty work to help his team win.
Caleb Kenney | 6’5” | Douglas Freeman 2021
Kenney is an intriguing prospect out of the West End who has a budding skillset and natural athleticism to go along with it. The lefty is long and bouncy as he’s shown with some big posters and finishing ability, and he’s also skilled enough to handle in transition and create for himself and others off the bounce. He’s a good shooter when he’s left open and has a ton of room to grow on both ends of the floor.
