The 2022 class is entering their second season as high school athletes, and there are prospects that are poised for big time roles this season. Avoiding a "sophomore" slump is critical for these guys. When players are given expanded roles, consistency is the biggest ingredient to pay attention to. Check out these five elite 2022 prospects:

Barry Dunning (McGill-Toolen)- Barry will have a larger role this season. This 6'6 forward can play inside/out and compliments Cole Larue very well. With his athleticism, length, and playmaking ability on both ends, Barry should be relied on more this season. Showing consistent play and versatility will keep HM D1 programs coming back for more. 

Will Shaver (Oak Mountain)- Will is a post prospect with the highest ceiling in the 2022 class. This kid is 6'8, moves very well on the court, and has a growing skill set. He has the ability to stretch the floor offensively, has very good footwork, and keeps balls alive on the glass. Oak Mountain is known for running specific actions, but Will should average a double double easily this season.
