Kelton TalfordKelton Talford – Great Falls HS
Talford is ranked #8 in the 2020 class and is headed to Winthrop University next season. Talford 6’7 is hoping to lead the Red Devils to a Upper State Championship this season.
Isayah Owens – High Point Academy (Spartanburg) (pictured on the front)
Owens is back for the Grizzlies this season after helping them win a Class 1A State Championship last season. Owens a combo guard is ranked #18 in the 2020 class. Owens is very quick off the dribble and has the ability to create his own shot. Owens averaed 20.2 ppg last season and was named SCBCA Player of the Year.
Jayden Byrd – High Point Academy (Spartanburg)
Byrd has been here at High Point Academy for all 4 years. Byrd a sharp shooting guard has scored 1,179 career points entering this season. Byrd averaged 15.8 ppg last season.
Aaron ParkerAaron Parker – Hemingway HS
Parker has been to the past 3 state championships for the Tigers. Several players have graduated and moved on since last year. Parker will have to carry the load this season from the back court position. Parker has a really good feel for the game and plays at a even pace.
Devon BristowDevon Bristow – McBee HS
Bristow we first saw as freshman for the Panthers. Bristow 6’8 has the tools to be a player and seems to still be growing into his body. Bristow plays in the same region with Great Falls HS. Bristow averaged 10.2 ppg, 11.9 ppg and 3.1 blocks last season for the Panthers.
Jurvod Wise – North HS
Wise plays off the grid down in Orangeburg County at North HS. Wise is a brute in the paint and plays physical. Wise can face-up and hit the open jumper when given the opportunity. Wise has soft hands and a good touch around the cup.
Malik PalmerMalik Palmer – Denmark-Olar HS
Palmer has been here for ever it seems for the Vikings. Palmer a quarterback is a multiple sport athlete and also plays Soccer in the spring. Palmer will have to pickup his averaged this season with the departure of Harold Johnson to Cardinal Newman.
I’rek HartwellI’rek Hartwell – Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS (Neeses)
Hartwell will be given the keys to the offense this season for H-K-T. Hartwell averaged 20.5 ppg last season playing with Marlow Gilmore. Hartwell really creates havoc on the defensive end of the floor. Hartwell excels in the transition game.
Wendell SeabrookWendell Seabrook – Charleston Math & Science
Seabrook is a floor leader for his team located in Chucktown. Seabrook uses the ball screen very well to come off defenders. Seabrook a point guard makes his teammates happy with his unselfish play in the backcourt. Seabrook averaged 13.4 ppg last season for the Riptide.
Donnell AdamsDonnell Adams – Great Falls HS
Adams is currently one of the 11 players playing football this fall for the Red Devils. Adams is back for Head Coach Jimmy Duncan in the back court. Adams averaged 15.1 ppg last season for the Red Devils.
William Snipes – Dixie HS (Due West)
Snipes plays in the Upper State at little old Dixie HS in Due West. Snipes plays in the same region with High Point Academy. Snipes has a really good stroke but needs time to set his feet. Snipes averaged 16.1 ppg last season. while shooting 41% from three point range for the Hornets.
Ja’Montrell Waters – Lake View HS (Lake View)
Waters 6’5 is a very slender-sleek forward who plays in Dillon County at Lake View HS. Lake View HS has strong football tradition and baseball over the years. Waters really likes to roam the perimeter and has the ability to handle the rock at times. Waters is currently playing wide receiver for the Wild Gators football team.
