As always, I reached out to a lot of players from different classes on which programs came to see them. Also, some of the top talent in the state are setting up visits in the coming months.
Here’s what I have:
Kennedy Chandler, Briarcrest (2021): Syracuse, Oklahoma, USC, Auburn, Louisville, Kentucky, Alabama, Texas Tech, Florida and Missouri were all at Briarcrest Christian School to see Chandler, who currently has 39 solid offers.
Marcellus Brigham Jr., Briarcrest (2020): Brigham Jr. will be taking an official visit to Georgia Southern on the weekend of September 28th. He plans to take an unofficial visit to Troy in October.
Alden Applewhite, Houston (2021): TCU and Missouri stopped by to see Applewhite. The 6-foot-6 combo guard is being recruited heavily by the Horned Frogs, who were the first Division 1 program to offer Applewhite. The Tigers are also showing strong interest.
Randy Brady, Brentwood Academy (2021): After taking his unofficial visit to Tennessee last weekend, Missouri came to see Brady.
Chandler Jackson, Christian Brothers (2022): TCU, Memphis and Florida State stopped by to see Jackson. He picked up his second D1 offer from the Horned Frogs. Jackson took an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt over the weekend. The Commodores are very high on Jackson.
Reese McMullen, Christian Brothers (2021): Lipscomb came back to see McMullen earlier this week. Princeton also stopped through to see the 6-2 guard. Yale, Stanford and Dartmouth all have plans to see McMullen.
Jalen Bo Montgomery, Lausanne (2020): SIU Edwardsville and Valparaiso came to see Montgomery. He’s planning to take an official visit to SIUE in the coming weeks.
Johnathan DeJurnett, Lausanne (2020): Southeast Missouri State University, UT-Martin, Valparaiso and SIU Edwardsville came to see DeJurnett. He plans to take official visits to UT-Martin, SEMO and SIUE in the coming weeks. Virginia Military Institute plans to be in Memphis next Tuesday to see DeJurnett.
Brandon Miller, Cane Ridge (2022): After picking up an offer from Tennessee, Louisville came to see Miller. Ole Miss and Kentucky are also showing interest.
Alex Anderson, Tipton-Rosemark Academy (2021): Georgia Southern, Florida State and George Washington came to see Anderson. The Eagles’ staff had great things to say about the 6-6 wing.
Jalen Brown, Wooddale (2021): TCU and Missouri stopped through to see Brown.
Jalen Page, Blackman (2020): Lee University stopped through to see the 6-4 point guard.
Moussa Cisse, Lausanne (2021): USC, Auburn, Kentucky and South Carolina stopped through to see Cisse. The Trojans offered the 6-11 big man. Cisse now has six solid offers (USC, Memphis, Ole Miss, Georgia, Pittsburgh and Connecticut).
