Breyton Buysman (13.5 points a game) of Simley. Buysman had a strong summer with the Select 16s actively completing plays as a transition game changer. The 6-foot-2 guard score 14 points a game as a sophomore and will team with Ruot Jioklow to make for a section contender.
Marquise Gleb of South St. Paul. Six-foot-2 wing Marquise Gleb is one of the better junior wide receivers in the state but what people also need to know is that he also scored 17 points a contest as an underclassmen. With Max Wilson, Marcus Brown, and Alonzo Dodd, all returning with Gleb the Packers should be dangerous.
Chay Guen of Albert Lea. This 6-foot-6, strong forward is one of the most explosive prospects in the state that most people aren’t aware of. Guen put up 14 a game last year and if he’s in position to make plays this year his numbers should be massive in the Big Nine.
Colten Jensen of Bemidji. Jensen is the guy that takes a charge, dives for a loose ball, takes on whatever defensive assignment you ask him to, plus hustles to score 14 a game. A 6-foot-3 forward that is the energizer of his basketball team.
Cameron Latvis of Henry Sibley. A 6-foot-2 180 pound three-sport athlete that is top returning basketball player for Sibley while also being a track & field standout and the quarterback of the football team. We first heard about his 45-50 point game as a freshman two years back.
Carter McEachern of Zimmerman. McEacher put up 23 a contest last year as a 6-foot-4/6-foot-5 post at Zimmerman. He scored 30 plus puts in four different games including his 37 point contest against Becker and another 34 versus against a good Bemidji team.
Josh Reinertsen of Duluth Denfeld. We spoke about him last year in this article and now we are telling you about Josh again. He’s going to be about a 1,700 point scorer in his time at Denfeld and he’s doing it with Armon Freeman on a sleeper team heading into the season.
Adam Schneider of Cloquet. Adam is a 5-foot-11 junior point guard that scored 15 a game last season including a 28 point performance in the section final loss to Princeton. One of the hardest working players year round you will see.
