This year the squad features mostly younger talent so there was not a ton of coaches in the building but we got the chance to see what the future holds for TCS.
2022 Guard Cam Oates: Was one of the best players on the floor throughout the day as he caused problems for whoever was trying to defend him. His scoring ability is something that was already known but he also showed some tremendous passing and the ability to play PG.
2020 Forward Todd Burtt: He showed some flashes of how good he could be last year and will need to step in and show out this season. At about 6’7 with that ability to put the ball on the floor, you can see why he’s such an intriguing prospect.
2021 Forward Robert Wright Jr: Looked to establish himself inside the post early on. Has good size and strength which allows him to play through a nice amount of contact. The team will look for him to be dominate on the boards and he is more than capable of doing so.
2022 Guard Freddie Dillone: Showed some flashes of how good he can be, once he increases his motor, he will be a very difficult player to contain. Already has many of the tools and attributes that D1 coaches look for.
2022 Guard Jamori McDougald: We have seen him on quite a few occasions before and his potential to be a special prospect is clear. Although his shot wasn’t dropping today, he has impressive shooting ability and ballhandling skills.
2023 Guard Michael Ross Jr: Another young guard for this squad that has a chance to be really good over time. He has a quick first step , outstanding ballhandling skills, and dedicates himself on the defensive end of the floor.
2023 Guard Xavier Matthews: Plays the game with a nice bounce in his step and has plenty of upside to his game. Gets off the floor quickly, has good elevation on his shot and also showed some good defensive talent.
2020 Forward Travon Jackson: Although he is undersized at the Forward spot he makes up for it with his athleticism and high energy. He will be a player that TCS will need to show up and provide energy on a nightly basis.
