Top 250 Expo: Guards in Attendance
The PrepHoops Oregon Top 250 takes place on Sunday, September 22 and top players from the Classes of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 will be in participation at Parkrose High School in Portland. The strength of the Class of 2020 lies in the point/combo guards and most all of them will be in attendance at the event. Here’s a look at the top ones.
(It’s not too late to join in! SECURE YOUR SPOT AT THE TOP250 EXPO TODAY!)
Jesse White (2020 Barlow)
White may be the single-most dangerous offensive guard in Oregon as there is no one else who can get on a roll – especially from long range – like he does. The senior will look to also display his improved passing skills.
Jamison Guerra (2020 Sherwood)
Guerra is arguably the #1 pure point guard in the state. The expo will be just another opportunity for him to showcase his floor leadership skills against top-level competition, something he’s done all summer long.
Matthew Levis (2020 Jesuit)
Of all the guards in attendance, Levis may be the top two-way backcourt performer. The senior really gets after it on the defensive end and he’s improved with both his perimeter shot and ability to take it to the hole.
David Gonzales (2020 Silverton)
Gonzales is a gritty performer that simply knows how to win. He’s consistently proven himself against top competition and the event is another chance for him to go up against guys he’s played against his entire career.
Braeden Sato (2020 Sunset)
Sato is another guy who can really get it going from long range. He has seemingly unlimited range and he’s very shifty in the way he is able to create space to get his shot off.
Guy Littlefield (2020 Forest Grove)
Littlefield is a physically built guard who can really get to the basket. He spent his summer working on his jumper and got a chance to play against high-level competition on the PrepHoops Circuit.
Jayoni Moore (2020 Roosevelt)
Moore is a well-built combo guard that has the capability to really get it going from the outside. The event will give him the opportunity to showcase his versatility as a floor leader.
Brandon Hopson (2021 Roosevelt)
There may have been no one who rose up the charts as much this summer than Hopson, who had an outstanding spring playing with Maeko. The Expo will give him the chance to matchup against the top older points in the state.
