Haden Brown – Willard (6’4 c/o ’22)
Strong, aggressive, bully-ball driver who plays with the physicality of an upperclassmen on both ends of the floor. He is all over the floor and offers a good deal of positional versatility. Definitely one to keep an eye on moving forward.
Justin Duff – Desmet (6’3 c/o ’23)
Duff is tough. He was one of the top 2023 prospects at the event on Saturday. He was lights out from beyond the arc, drilling drive and kick looks from the corners and elevating to knock down contested bombs from the wing.
Frankie May – Lutheran St. Charles (6’2 c/o ’22)
After busting onto the scene averaging nearly 10 ppg as a frosh, Frankie is poised to take a step forward for Lutheran St. Charles this year. Very scrappy on both ends. Range to three. High energy guy that consistently beat defenses down the floor and had an impressive dunk.
Kory McCauley – Francis Howell (6’3 c/o ’22)
Smooth, versatile wing with good length. Played with confidence against older guys. He had a spurt of just a few minutes where he had a quick, solid drop step finish in the paint and followed up with a pair of quick release, effortless three-pointers.
Jackson Muse – Belleville East (5’6 c/o ’23)
Did a very nice job of taking what the defense gave him and converting. Quick first step. Sells his shot-fake/pass-fake well that allows him to step into and knock down the one dribble pull-up with regularity.
Duce Taylor – Desmet (6’2 c/o ’22)
Duce caught our eye because of his own. He showed off some impressive court vision and high IQ Saturday. Very talented and accurate passer off the outlet and in transition. Threw some nice home-run balls and threads the needle quite well.
Austin Vick – Westminster Christian (6’6 c/o ’22)
Very good size and could grow into a potential monster in the paint. Boards it well on both ends. Does a nice job of catching high and keeping it high on the block. Disciplined defender inside, times his hands well for blocked shots. Set shot is developing into a viable weapon in the arsenal.
Braden Appelhans – Blue Springs (6’5 c/o ’22)
Braden has very good projectable size and a skill set to match. Can fill it up from beyond the arc. Uses his length well around the rim. Unselfish and willing passer that excels in transition.
