Many players picked up offers this week, for some it was their first. We even seen a few commitments. Also, a 2023 picked up a huge offer!
Here we take a look at what has went down the last week around the state.
Prospects:
Caleb Terry (2020 / Alexander): The big man committed to Division ll Trevecca Nazarene. Terry is one of the tallest players around at 6-10. A solid landing spot for him!
Tyrese Hughey (2021 / Thomas Worthington): Hughey continues to add mid-major offers, this one coming from Kent State. A player that will continue to blow up at Kent State.
Hunter Shedenhelm (2020 / Pickerington North): The Pickerington North Senior has became a high Division ll priority in Central Ohio. His two-way abilities have recently picked him up an offer from Walsh.
CJ Anthony (2020 / Harvest Prep): The toughest point guard in Central Ohio added a couple more offers this week. Union Universty and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pulled the trigger on Anthony.
VonCameron Davis (2020 / Walnut Ridge): Kent State got a lot better in the foreseeable future with a commitment from VonCameron Davis. The Walnut Ridge wing-forward could fight for playing time off the rip.
Malaki Branham (2021 / Akron SVSM): One of the country’s best 2021’s continues to add offers. Adding Iowa to an already impressive list was the latest for Branham.
Ben Knostman (2021 / Tippecanoe): Knostman is a name that more need to know. One of the best passers in the entire state, that runs an offense to perfection. Malone and UNOH both pulled the trigger in offering the junior.
Trey Robinson (2020 / Hamilton): Trey Robinson is one of the better wing scorers in Ohio, and landed at a solid mid-major. Northern Kentucky obtained his verbal commitment shortly after his visit.
Josiah Harris (2022 / Richmond Heights): Eastern Michigan offered
Jamarr Talbert (2021 / Ricmond Heights): Eastern Michigan offered
Brandon Gibson (2020 / Chaminade Julienne): Mount Vernon Nazarene offered
Trey Woodyard (2021 / London): Ohio, Miami (OH) offered
Alex Williams (2021 / Moeller): Kent State offered
Marlon Barnes (2023 / Brush): Miami (FL) offered
Colby Cross (2020 / Cedarville): Committed to Cedarville University
