Five Sunday Night Standouts
- Point one that needs to be made, Willie Wilson is the next 2022 player that will see a major stock boost when it comes to recruiting. It’s my prediction that this winter Wilson has an incredible year at Minneapolis North. He’s a bit taller, a lot stronger, and Wilson’s length extends forever. His jumper, ability to separate, and explosive finish grabbed attention offensively while his defense was a constant game changer with his quick feet and great length.
- The attack of Drake Dobbs is even more aggressive with high percentage results than I remember. I know everybody respect his jumper and ability to move the ball to talented teammates but I think his basket attack is also very high level.
- The best way to talk about Austin Andrews is by saying “he knows how to play better than anyone”. And it’s so true. There is an obvious to what Andrews does, things others won’t do, and there is a two steps ahead to what Austin does, that others can’t do.
- Wayzata wing Camden Heide has one of the purest shooting strokes I have ever seen. It doesn’t matter if he was balanced last night or off balance, that soft touch sunk shots from a deep range constantly. And the ones that didn’t go in danced around like they wanted to go in as well. Add in his explosive ability around the basket and you have a guy that many services have ranked as Minnesota’s top 2022 talent.
- Jacob Hutson is immovable around the basket. He might be the easiest entry pass inside that there is. Hutson is the post that is easy to enter the ball to because he gets the work done early and makes life easier for everyone.
