Word of God Christian 2020 Forward Josiah Shackleford: Showed some flashes of how good that he could possibly be last season and over the summer. Strong player in the post that can produce on both ends, he has the potential to be a double/double type of player on a nightly basis.
Voyager Academy F/C Jonas Aidoo: The recruitment of this young man is beginning to rise and rightfully so, the tools he already possess along with the potential he has to be special is clear. Rebounding , blocking shots and passing are all things that he does well which is impressive for a player that’s almost 7 feet tall.
Millbrook HS Forward Sam Hood: Quite a few D2 programs have offered him already and it doesn’t take long to realize why that’s happened. He plays the game with a high motor , but also has an impressive skillset, that should allow him to see the court early on at the next level.
Trinity Christian Forward Todd Burtt: He didn’t have his best season last year but will look to bounce back as he is one of the only seniors on this squad. He has a solid face up game and would fit into as what we would classify as a stretch forward.
Burlington School Forward Kuluel Mading: He created quite a bit of buzz with his play over the summer as he was able to show his ability to play on the wing. He has a smooth shooting stroke, solid ballhandling skills and nice agility which makes him a matchup problem for many.
Holly Springs Forward Kaleb Scott: He’s drawn comparisons to former Providence Day star Forward Grant Williams due to his physique which allows him to be impressive in the paint. Showing his ability to stretch a defense and finish above the rim are things we have seen quite often from him.
