Cornerstone Christian high school is a private school out of San Antonio,Texas. Their high school basketball team this season will have some of the best players in the state of Texas and also the country. This year the Warriors will be playing a national schedule against some of the top teams in the country. I predict that Cornerstone Christian will win a lot of games this year and have a chance to be considered one of the top teams in the country by the end of the season.
Players To Watch:
Wood is a lanky forward that can shoot the three-ball and can put the ball on the floor attack downhill from the perimeter. Wood is bouncy and doesn’t mind dunking over defenders in traffic.
Nunez is a skilled point guard that plays the game with a nonstop motor. He’s got deep range ability and makes smart passes on the offensive end. Nunez is also a pesky defender that uses his quickness to aggravate the opposing player.
Colbert is the man in the middle for the talented Cornerstone Christian squad. The five-star is mobile and runs the floor like a deer and can get off the floor well. Colbert had a strong summer with San Antonio Hardwork and cemented his status as one of the best power forwards in the country.
Green is a slash first swingman that loves to play fast and excels in transition. He must continue to improve his jump shot and his decision making in the half-court. If Green shows development on both ends of the floor this year, I believe his recruitment could blow up.
Not a lot of kids can do what Tre White can offensively. He is excellent with the ball in his hands and knows how to create for himself or for his teammates. He has a powerful frame to complement his strong athletic ability. The four-star Kansas commit is primed to have a big year this season with his new Cornerstone team.
