Prep Hoops takes a look at several of the state’s top performers throughout the spring and summer.
20 — Jack Webb, 6’0, G, 2021, Shawnee Mission South, Showtime 16U
Webb is a smooth perimeter shooter who uses screens exceptionally well and can run off the ball. He showcased terrific form, rotation and a repeatable shooting stroke throughout the tournament, and impressed with his all-around play. Webb has good size for a guard and played much bigger than his listed 6’0 height would suggest as he posted up, rebounded and defended multiple positions.
11 — Jake Wolff, 6’1, G, 2021, Blue Valley, MoKan 2021
Also a standout football prospect, Wolff is a strong guard who is terrific spotting up in the corners behind the 3-point arc. He is a tough, physical defender who uses his size well to wall off opposing ball handlers and keep them out of the paint. Wolff likes to shoot from the outside, but can use a head fake to help free himself and attack the basket where he is a strong finisher in the lane.
2 — Harrison Braudis, 6’0, G, 2021, Bishop Miege, MoKan 2021
Braudis is a smooth point guard who plays the game with a lot of confidence. He is a willing passer who looks to set up his teammates and get everyone involved. He has a good feel for the ball and is an underrated passer and overall leader on the floor.
4 — Dawson Zenger, 6’3 G, 2021, Rock Creek, SSA Elite Black 16U
Zenger is a smooth, all-around guard who can put the ball on the floor and burn opponents. He scores at all three levels and his versatility is difficult to stop when he finds his stroke and is feeling it. He earns his touches and seems to have an answer for everything.
12-Ty Henry, 6’1, G, 2021, Topeka, Kansas Hoggs
An excellent 3-point shooter with good form and long range. He is a scrappy player who picks a part defenses with his step back shooting and quick release. Henry is an unselfish player and one who doesn’t go out of his way to score. He plays team first ball.
