The point guard is one of the most important positions in today's evolving game. Lo'Quavious Barnswell proved that he was a floor general in Saturday's showcase. The 2020 guard is versatile and has the keen eyesight needed to provide leadership and run the offense. 

Point guards have to be playmakers and get their teammates involved. What I value most about a great point guard is their ability to see the floor and create space. They see mismatches, control the tempo of the game and share the spotlight with their teammates. 

Barnswell has great poise and confidence when the ball is in his hands. He can see players get open and deliver the ball quick as lightening. He's precise with his passes and controls the ball with poise. Barnswell also finds creative ways to create his own shot and attack the rim.

  • Orchestrate offense and score when necessary
