We have to start at the top of the class with Bryce Thompson who should be a McDonalds All-American. Thompson has narrowed his list to North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Michigan State, Texas, and Kansas. If you saw him this summer on the UA Circuit it is easy to see why such great universities are after his talents. Thompson can score it with the best of them.
Rondel Walker had an awesome summer with the Texas Titans. His recruitment blew up over the last month leaving him with a very nice looking top five. Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas, and Arkansas remain in the running for the talented overall Guard.
Jalen Breath brought in his first NCAA Division I offer recently from UMKC. He has always been a load of potential in the paint.
After Bob Hoffman took the Central Oklahoma job his first in-state offer went to Davon Richardson a talented Wing scorer out of Sand Springs. Richardson can light up a gym scoring the rock at all three levels.
Nate Goodlow is hearing from several schools at the NCAA Division II level. Cameron and Northeastern State are after his talents the hardest.
Christian Cook out of Midwest City has heard from Army-West Point, Oral Roberts, Arkansas Fort-Smith, Western Oregon, Cameron, Rogers State, Black Hills State, East Central, Northeastern, UCO, UT-Tyler, and Fort Hayes. After the big summer, he had that is no surprise to anyone who watched him blossom with Buddy Buckets.
Traejon Davis a talented Wing out of Hoops For Christ homeschool organization has turned in offers from Oklahoma Christian, the University of Dallas, and Cameron. All three schools are after his talents.
The list is long for Jordan Thompson of schools who are eager to land his talents. East Central, UAFS, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, and Murray State are all pursuing him heavily. After the great summer, he had running the show for Buddy Buckets plus a state tournament semifinal appearance it is no shock to see the development of recruiting in Thompson.
Now for the committed guys.
After his great summer, Trey Phipps decided to decommit from Tulsa and flipped his commitment to the Sooners. The jump to the BIG12 comes from Phipps showing he can consistently shoot it with the best in the country.
Jameson Richardson pulled in several NCAA Division I looks ultimately deciding to go with Abilene Christian. This is a college who has pretty well with Oklahoma kids.
After the great summer for Sam Godwin on the Prep Hoops Circuit he was left with many offers including SIU, North Texas, Wofford, and Tulsa making big pushes for the big man out of Southmoore’s talents. The intensity Godwin brings to the floor had schools liking what he brings to the table. Wofford ended up snagging Godwin’s commitment over this past weekend. Godwin will be a very productive NCAA Division I basketball player.
