Prospect Spotlight: Kejuan Frager (2020)
KeJuan Frager showed why he is one of the best available lead guard prospects in the state of Maryland this weekend when the DMVelite80 returned to Wise High School. The crafty floor general shot it well, but also showed that he is a competent facilitator and a tenacious defender. Frager discussed the things he focused on in order to stand out during a camp setting.
“I’m just trying to show coaches that I can do more than just shoot the ball,” Frager explained. “I’m just trying to pass the ball, play defense, rebound, and do all the little things that won’t show up on the stat sheet.”
Right now, Frager is focused on getting stronger and improving his IQ before his senior season. Some of his goals include being named First Team All-Met and winning 4A States. If Frager is able to accomplish those goals, his recruitment should expand significantly.
“Concordia College is standing out the most right now,” he said of his recruitment. “I haven’t visited yet, but I’m hoping to soon.”
This area is loaded with talent at the point guard position. That talent pool includes Frager and many others. The Wise Pumas are expected to be one of the best teams in PG County once again this year, and he will be a big reason why. Frager’s story is still being written and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on his path as the season unfolds.
