At 6’3, Bradford is a long, rangy wing player who likes to attack the basket off the bounce and can finish with flair around the rim. He is a well-rounded scorer who can create off the dribble, get open off screens and can break down a defense.
He says he worked hard throughout the offseason to prepare for the upcoming season, playing travel ball and working out in the gym.
“Playing for my AAU team has been a great experience and has taught me multiple things from building relationships with my coaches and teammates learning new things in practice and games,” he says. I feel like it has helped get me prepared for my high school season because my coach pushes us in practice, so we always go 100 percent so we know what to expect in games.”
He says he is working on improving his defense and mid-range game and hopes to average 15-18 points per game and receive first-team all-conference.
Bradford said his family has had the biggest influence on his basketball career, especially his mom and my aunt.
“My mom influences me because she supports me because she supports me and comes to most of my games and tells me what I did good and shares what I can do next time,” Bradford said. “My aunt because she supports me by coming to most of my games and give me feedback as well.”
A fan of Rockets guard James Harden, Bradford says he has implemented various elements of the NBA star’s game and made them his own.
“He is so good with the ball.some things I have taken from his game and put into my own are his dribble drives and finishes along with his breaking down the defender and then making your move after that,” Bradford said.
Bradford has attended several Elite Camps at various colleges, including Williams Jewell, Emporia State and others. He was unable to attend other events as his family was supporting his mother’s battle with Breast Cancer and I was unable to attend this year.
