Price has developed a solid all around game. He’s an excellent finisher that displays good body control. Price can contort himself and score around a defender. He’s a definite threat in transition. Price can run the wing or trail the ball handler with equal effectiveness. He’s a good shot blocker, especially for his size. Price is an asset on defense because of his ability to guard multiple positions. He can defend on the perimeter and in the paint.
Price wants to continue to get better as a basketball player and compete in big games. He’s working to improve his ball handling and his jumpshot. Growth in these areas would make him an even more versatile weapon for Waterford Mott. Price is highly anticipating a game against Orchard Lake St. Mary’s. With his love for big games and high pressure environments, Price hopes his team gets a chance to square off with defending Division 1 state champion Ypsilanti-Lincoln.
A’Zion Price has seen his recruitment gain steam, especially after a strong grassroots season with UTS Elite. He has picked up interest from schools like Bethune Cookman, Ferris State, Niagara, Northwood, and Wayne State. Price has a lot to offer a college basketball program. He’ll provide them with a solid all around athlete (he also plays football). Price will bring a wllingness to work and a dedication to being a good teammate to the next level.
Price has clear and simple goals. On the basketball court, he is focused on helping Waterford Mott winning a state championship. Price just wants to be successful in all aspects of life outside of basketball. He’s certainly on pace to be and do just that.
