The 6’1″ shooting guard attends Fenton High School and played grassroots basketball for the Michigan Cagers. Last season he averaged 13ppg, 3rpg, and 3apg.
McIntosh has a strong skill set. He’s a knockdown shooter and does it at a high percentage. He has a chance to establish himself as one of the top 3 point shooters in Michigan’s senior class next season. If a defender steps out on his shot, he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim. McIntosh has good court vision which helps his efficiency. He takes pride in his defense, where he likes to force turnovers and create easy buckets off of them.
McIntosh understands that experience and improvement are critical in determining his success in the game of basketball. He is currently focused on improving his ball handling. His best moment in basketball came when he was in the Top 20 Michigan 3 Point Contest at the Breslin Center, where he finished in 3rd place. McIntosh is looking forward to a key matchup and huge rivalry game with Linden High School next season.
Addison McIntosh is beginning the recruiting process. He’s had a couple schools show interest recently. McIntosh certainly has some things to offer to a college team. He would bring hard-work and dedication, done in a way that motivates his teammates to follow his lead.
McIntosh has set clear goals for himself. He wants his Fenton squad to win their league and advance far in the playoffs. McIntosh is also eyeing the 1000 career point mark. He wants to go to college to earn a degree and play basketball. Off the court, McIntosh wants to earn a business degree and get a good paying job or own a business.
Coaches and scouts should keep an eye on this talented and rising prospect.
