Caleb Burton (O’Fallon – 2022)
Burton is one of the best 2022 combo guards in the state. What you have to like about him is his size, length, and fluid offensive skill set. Burton has a feel for the game both passing and scoring. Such a burst with the rock in his hands allowing him to get past his defenders with relative ease. Could be the next big thing at the lead guard spot to come out of the metro east!
Frank DeCarlo (Lincoln Way Central – 2022)
DeCarlo is a point guard that is smaller, but brings a ton of toughness to the lead guard spot. Good at dishing the rock on dump off passes in the lane and was an active defender on the perimeter.
Tonico Brown (Bolingbrook – 2022)
At 6’1” Brown is a combo guard that displayed natural scoring ability. He got in the lane with ease for runners and spotted up in the corner for a three ball.
Gabe Madej (Fenwick – 2022)
This Fenwick 2022 6’5” forward put his name on the map over the weekend. Love the size and mobility that he brought to the table. Put it on the deck too including one drive off a shot fake where he blew past his defender. Another nice young player for Fenwick!
James Qualley (Stevenson – 2022)
Qualley is a wing to watch this season on a well-balanced Stevenson squad. This sophomore has size at 6’3” and can shoot it spotting up from the wings.
Jamal Keyes (St. Patrick – 2022)
This St. Patrick point guard is quick with the ball in his hands and got to the line at a high rate.
William Hayes (St. Ignatius – 2023)
Hayes is a smaller point guard, but the kid has game! Plus mid-range jump shooter that drilled several pulling up. Pesky defender that got a steal and took it the other way for a score.
Jordan Croegaert (Byron – 2023)
This guard plays with power and rebounded well for his size.
Terrell Hatter (Lyons – 2023)
Hunter is a tiny left handed point guard that can shoot it from deep.
Bryce Shoto (Plainfield Central – 2023)
Shoto might have been the smallest player at the camp, but this kid has game! He is quick and shifty with the ball in his hands being able to win off the dribble and make the flashy play look easy.
Ahmad Henderson (Brother Rice – 2023)
This Brother Rice freshman point guard is a smaller guard that can stretch the floor including hitting a sweet step back three.
