Christian Shumate – The 6’6” Guard from Bloom Township was the top player at the event, in my mind. The Senior is an elite scorer at all levels and completely dominated on the offensive end. His athleticism really showed on some highlight-reel worth dunks.
Johnathan Oden – Oden is a 6’7” Forward from Legal Prep that really caught people’s attention throughout the Expo. The athletic Senior was amongst the strongest players in attendance, throwing down several powerful dunks. Runs the floor very well in transition.
Jack Hays – The 6’2” Guard from Von Steuben MSC was one of my favorite players to watch at the Expo. The Senior can play at the 1 or 2 spot and succeed with his shooting ability and solid ball handling skills. Really dominated in the transition game.
Jadyn Benson – Benson is a 6’4” Combo Guard from Mount Carmel who has the strength to match up with nearly anybody. The ultra-athletic Junior is quick into the lane and controls his body nicely to get clean looks at the rim.
Aaron Tims – The 6’8” Forward from Hinsdale South was a beast in the post. The Senior dominated the post on both ends, showing an impressive array of post moves and out rebounding several opponents. Runs the floor well in transition.
