Miles Sulka – Mountain Pointe
Sulka was a player that always appeared at the right spot at the right time to make impactful plays on both ends. His defense led to offense, and he made some nice back-door cuts off the ball to score, catching his defender off-guard.
Riley Fornerette – Dysart
I really liked his quick feet on defense, always staying in front of his man and communicating. He made a few steals that came from pure effort and communication, and came away with nearly every 50-50 ball in his area.
Jake Schleifer – Trivium Prep
Despite often being the biggest player on the floor, he played as fast as anyone, and was consistently one of the first players up and down the court. He didn’t have to do anything special on offense, as he merely streaked up the court on fast breaks and finished easily at the hoop.
Charlie Allard – Ironwood Ridge
On the other end of the spectrum, Allard was smaller than just about everyone at this event, but still made an impact by being in the right spots on offense. He made a few nice passes to shooters on the perimeter when he got the ball.
