Here are a few of the players that stood out:
Parker Kiepke – Rising Athletes
I like his hustle on both ends in this game. He was defending opposing wings well, fighting through a lot of screens to do so. And on offense, he made some nice cuts and scored or drew fouls near the hoop.
Sam Sollars – Rising Athletes
He played way above his size, finding the right spots to poke the ball away for steals and deflections. And then he ran in transition to finish lay ups from the defensive stops. He scored a lot near the basket, and rebounded well defensively.
Titus Palmer – Tucson Heat – La Paloma Academy
His shot was falling from outside, which not only made a big impact in scoring, but opened up the floor for teammates to work on offense.
Vincent Edwards – Tucson Heat
He used his size and athleticism to do great work near the hoop. He scored from the block, played good rim protection defense, and made several quality rebounds on both ends.
