We got a chance to see almost everyone at the Expo and here’s a look at some of the other Class of 2021 prospects that we haven’t written about yet (Part 1 of 2):
(listed alphabetically)
Isaac Allwine (2021 Jefferson) – He’s definitely not the biggest kid as a lanky 5-foot-11 guard but one thing about Allwine that stood out to everyone was his toughness and willingness to compete. He’s been a big practice player over the years for loaded Jefferson and at the Expo, he hit some shots and didn’t back down from anyone.
Ben Bailey (2021 Canby) – What immediately stood out about Bailey was his size at 6-foot-5 and his lefty shot. He moved fairly well with out the basketball and sank some mid-range baseline shots in the time that we watched him perform.
Seth Feik (2021 Tualatin) – In many ways, Feik reminded us a lot of his older brother Cam, except he’s a lefty and a little smaller at 5-foot-10. But he’s plenty tough and competitive and in the action we saw, he knocked down some good-looking jumpers as well while also looking to set up teammates for scores.
Jayden Junta (2021 Putnam) – Junta is a big bodied 6-foot-3 forward who definitely used it to his advantage at the Expo. He was tough on the boards and was physical on defense but on offense, showed off a nice touch from the mid-range on out.
Ams Juwara (2021 Southridge) – Juwara is built like a running back at 5-foot-9 but has quickness in addition to strength. He was able to get into the lane and create and score a little with his lefty shot. He projects to be a major part of Southridge this upcoming season.
Riley Knutson (2021 Canby) – We didn’t get to see a ton of Knutson but from what we saw the 6-foot-1 junior had a solid body and was capable of knocking down open shots.
