They’re two of the Top 10 or so sophomores in the West and, conservatively, among the 25ish in the Class of 2022 nationally.
But they were far from the only standouts from the Southern California-based players from the class at the camp.
Among the notable in the group were 6-2 D.J. Dudley (L.A. Fairfax), 6-foot jump shooter-deluxe Benny Gealer (Rolling Hills Prep), point guards Jason Hart, Jr. (Taft/PICTURED), Tajavis Miller (Servite) and Barrington Hargress (Ribet Academy) and 6-4 swingman Christian Moore (L.A. Brentwood).
Each of those six played in the Top 30 All-Star game, as did Wright and Andrews.
*Dudley was first-team all-San Diego Section last season at San Ysidro High and was outstanding over the spring and summer on the EYBL circuit with the Why Not 15s squad that also included Hargress.
He’ll be one of the most productive members from the Class of 2022 in the L.A. City Section this season.
*Hargress, who kept defenders on their heels for two days at Lynwood High, was a key member of the squad that won the State Division IV championship in Sacramento last March.
He and his buddies will take on the “big boys” during the Dec. 26-30 Classic at Damien Tournament.
*There isn’t a better jump shooter in the Class of 2022 – and, maybe, beyond – in SoCal than Gealer, a standout in the spring and summer with the Compton Magic 16s club.
*Hart (who played as a freshman at L.A. Dorsey) and Miller (the only freshman selected to the All-Trinity League squad) are upper-tier college prospects.
*The 6-4 Moore scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to earn Most Outstanding Player for the winning team in the Top 30 All-Star game.
