Lee Dort 2022 Post
Through social media and other outlets, I had seen a lot of Lee Dort highlights, which made me extremely excited to see him perform at Oklahoma Elite Camp. It was easy to see why he has multiple offers at the D1 level. When he catches the ball in the paint move out of the way or get dunked on. Dort is every bit of 6’10 and uses his size to his advantage. Dort is a big-time rebounder with great footwork on the block. Make sure you get a chance to watch Dort in high school if possible.
Reid Lovelace 2022 Crossings Christian Point Guard
Lovelace is a young prospect with some potential at the Point Guard spot. What I loved seeing is how he distributed the basketball so well to other teammates. Many times as we all know at camps like this you can see ball hogs who take all of the shots. Lovelace was far from that. He did show some nice drives and good touch on his jumper.
Trey Phipps 2020 Booker T. Washington Point Guard
Phipps did not have to attend as he is already committed to Oklahoma. However, Phipps wanted to go out and play to show what he can do yet again. It speaks volumes to what makes him NCAA D1 level player. Phipps is an elite shooter, one of the best in the country.
Jordan Thompson 2020 Southmoore Point Guard
Competitor. That is exactly what Jordan Thompson is at the Point Guard spot. He wants all of the smoke! Every time out he is going to want the toughest matchup on the court. Thompson shot the basketball at a high level at OU Elite Camp. He is set for a huge senior season.
Drew Steffe 2023 Wing
Steffe was one of the youngest prospects in attendance at Oklahoma. Keep a close eye on this sharpshooter out of the state of Texas. He already holds multiple D1 offers.
MJ Warrior 2020 Putnam City West Point Guard
Warrior had a good hesitation dribble off the bounce that made him a problem. When he has his mind made up to drive to the basket he is tough to guard. Warrior is hearing from a lot of NCAA D2 schools.
Kalub Hunt 2020 Newcastle Wing
Hunt is starting to turn the corner as quite the scorer from the Wing. He got on a hot streak shooting the ball with consistency from behind the arc. Hunt is a prospect who should start to pick up small college interest.
Ethan Scott 2022 Mustang Guard
Scott is known as one of the best shooters in Oklahoma. He missed a few at OU Elite Camp, but just as all great shooter do he found his stride and hit some big shots. Scott is a prospect already receiving NCAA D2 and NAIA interest.
