Off the Board: Eddie Lampkin
Eddie Lampkin is a 6’10 C from the graduating class of 2020 that attends Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. He is a skilled big with great footwork and soft hands. High offensive IQ and gets his teammates involved in the game. Get’s up and down the floor well and is very vocal on the court. Last high school season he averaged 14.2 points per game, pulled down 10.6 rebounds per game, dished out 2.2 assists per game, and swatted away an 1.1 blocks per game average while shooting 61 percent from the field. On the UAA circuit, he averaged 13.3 points per game, brought down 7.6 rebounds per game, and shot 70 percent from the field. Also on the circuit he ranked 21st in scoring, he was 3rd in rebounding and was 1st in field goal percentage. Eddie is considered to be a Top National Prospect according to multiple sources. Prep Hoops has him ranked 185th nationally and ranked 11th in the State of Texas. He is also ranked in the Top 150 by ESPN (Paul Biancardi) as a 4-Star prospect with a rating of 80, according to 247 sports he is a 3-Star Prospect and is ranked 287th nationally, and Rivals has him as a 3-Star Prospect and ranked 37th nationally for his position. Eddie was also named MVP of the SC30 Select Camp.
