D’Ante Davis – 6’5 SF 2022 Lawrence Central (IN)
Davis was a stud all day long. The highly-talented national prospect showed a little of everything from his shooting to using his length around the rim and on defense. You can tell he has taken his game up a tick and is just much more aggressive because of the confidence he has gained over the last year. The perimeter shot will be the one area he can take a step forward this high school season but he should be a very productive player immediately.
Gabe McNary – 6’8 PF 2021 Avon (IN)
Gabe is a long, lean forward with a good amount of bounce and athleticism. He was one of the more interesting players we saw on the weekend as the 2021 class continues to flex it’s depth. While still a little raw, he’s able to get up and down the floor really well and did have a couple great moves at the rim. He’s a guy that should be able to play faced up a lot more down the road. A little strength should also give him a bit jump in his ability.
Caleb Swearigen – 6’3 SG 2021 Northview (IN)
Caleb continues to develop well over the last few years. He’s a guy that has shown pretty good ball handling for a guy his size. He’s more of an off guard but he’s at this point, he’s going to be a better slasher and creator in the lane once he gets in college. Using his strength a little better as well. Want to see how much he can step up during the high school season with a lot of freedom at hand.
Connor Essegian – 6’3 SG 2022 Central Noble (IN)
Connor is a really solid player and is pretty much the same each game we see him. He’s got the size and strength going for him and what is becoming more noticeable is his effort off the ball. He’s a willing defender and active player. Doesn’t just wait for things to come to him. With his wide variety of scoring options, he is looking like a breakout player this season for Central Noble.
Trey Flatt – 6’0 PG 2021 Covenant Christian (IN)
Trey has been a player on our radar for a while. He’s a bigger guard with a lot of confidence and plays like an older guy. He was tough on the ball in this event, showing his ability to handle pressure and still make plays. Always been a good shooter and is looking to drive a little more.
Grant Leeper – 6’4 PF 2023 Homestead (IN)
Leeper is a big, tough forward already as just a young gun. He looks much more like a forward than his older brother, more like he will pack on the strength and have some solid height. He was active and really solid in the lane. Didn’t shy away too much playing against some older talent. He’s got some really solid upside and we didn’t even get to see his perimeter game any. Will be interesting to watch this winter.
Adam O’Dell – 6’8 C 2021 South Bend St. Joseph (IN)
O’Dell continues to excel as of late. He’s been really good with his energy and efficiency. Has always kind of been that workhorse but he has been so tough lately around the rim and using that frame and strength to his advantage. Good scorer. Good rebounder. All-around great post player right now.
Landen Babusiak – 6’8 PF 2022 Hanover Central (IN)
Landen is a very intriguing forward to watch. Able to stretch the floor at a high level, shoot just enough right now to know it will be a strength, and so mobile that he might be able to defend perimeter players long term. With legit size and some handles, the upside is pretty high right now.
Davion Bailey – 6’3 SG 2020 – Indianapolis Pike (IN)
Davion showed some skill in this event with his perimeter game. He’s a bigger guard, more suited to play a wing spot, with a solid jumper at times. Can get a little too eager but the skill is for sure there and the body and strength are a big plus. He’s got some room to grow but could be a sneaky pickup late in this recruiting cycle.
Lucas Deck – 6’2 SG 2020 – Central Noble (IN)
Deck is a lanky wing that continues to be progressing. His ball handling is working well and he’s able to really get into his shot when he needs to. Still a solid slasher who will be quite a bit better when in college and adding on that strength, it wouldn’t shock if he even adds a little bit more height. Good skill with room to grow as he becomes a little more aggressive.
