Dajon Lott 6’6 2022 Elk Grove Ca
This long wiry prospect has an upside to his game. He has some presence in and around the post area. His skill set isn’t as polished yet, but with some improved foot work and some muscle he can develop into a solid prospect. He did score inside and he was able to change some shots with his long reach.
CJ McMillan 6’5 2022 Capital Christian (Sacramento Ca)
This prospect can be a dominant inside post player at the high school level if he wanted to stay down in there. At 6’5 he’s strong, physical and athletic enough to be a force on the court. He’s capable of handling the ball in the open court, he can drive it hard to the basket from the wings, and he showed he has a nice mid range step back.
Luca Davis 6’4, 2022 Sacramento HS (Sacramento Ca)
If you’re not scoring points, sometimes prospects can get over looked. The games I watched Luca play didn’t stuff the stat sheet with points, but his presence on the court is noticeable. He’s athletic, always moving, he plays good defense, rebounds, he gets out and runs the floor in transition. Very energetic on the court likes playing basketball.
Myles Byrd 6’6 2022, Lincoln HS (Stockton Ca)
I didn’t notice Miles until the last game of day one action. Miles is a long arm wiry prospect who has good flow to his game, his skill set is in tact. He displayed his ability to create his own shot off the dribble, has the range to knock down 3’s, gets out on the wings in transition and can finish with some consistency. His long arms takes up passing space, he had a few deflections. I’ll see more of Miles. He did play his way into the Final 20 Game.
Jayson Mathews 5’8 2022, Grant HS, (Sacramento Ca)
Good fundamentals, and athletic. A fast point guard who pushes the pace of the game with speed dribbles and up court passing. His handles are superb, and he’s got good control. Very difficult to stay in front of him with his quickness. He can hit the 3. A good on ball defender in the open court.
