We recently caught up with Mitchell Cook to discuss his game, the recruiting process, and more.
Question:
What’s the biggest strength of your game?
Mitchell Cook:
One of the biggest strengths I have is being able to defend at a high level.
Question:
What area do you think you’ve improved the most since last high school season?
Mitchell Cook:
The area that I have made the most improvement in has probably been shooting, and being able to make quicker adjustments offensively when attacking.
Question:
What has the recruiting process been like for you?
Mitchell Cook:
The recruiting process has been good, especially meeting and talking to college level coaches and seeing how I would fit within their offensive and defensive schemes.
Question:
What has been your favorite part of being recruited?
Mitchell Cook:
My favorite part would probably be the thought of playing at the next level. It is also pretty cool to meet, talk, and understand all of these different coaches as well.
Question:
What part of college basketball are you most excited about?
Mitchell Cook:
I think the part that excites me the most is competing at a higher level.
Question:
What are your goals for this coming high school season?
Mitchell Cook:
The goal at Williamston has always been to win a state title.
Question:
What NBA player reminds you of yourself?
Mitchell Cook:
I would personally say a young Andre Igoudala based on his ability to defend, but also attack the basket in different ways.
Question:
What is your favorite subject in school?
Mitchell Cook:
My favorite subject throughout high school has probably been math just because of the thought and effort it requires.
