JARED BILLUPS | 6’6 F | MCDONOGH ’21
All throughout the day, Billups did what he does best, and that’s play hard. It certainly helps that he’s 6’6 with freakish athleticism, but you have to admire his willingness to come out and compete on any given day.
JORDAN BRATHWAITE | 6’7 C | GLENELG COUNTRY ’20
Brathwaite continued to showcase confidence in his perimeter jump shot. He looked comfortable spotting up and knocking down threes from the top of the key. Brathwaite also ran the floor with purpose and had several athletic finishes above the rim.
DAVID BROWN III | 6’5 G | BISHOP MCNAMARA ’21
You might not notice it at first, but Brown covers a ton of ground in a short period of time. He’s a sneaky-good athlete who showed that he can score from all three levels in bunches while also competing on the defensive end.
TERRENCE BUTLER JR. | 6’7 C | BISHOP MCNAMARA ’21
Butler proved to be a matchup problem for many of his opponents. The lefty has a quick first step and expanding face up skills, but can always go in the post and exploit smaller defenders when he needs to.
JALEN BRYANT | 6’0 G | JOHN CARROLL ’21
Bryant was absolutely outstanding on both ends of the floor throughout the day. He played excellent team defense but also held his own in 1-v-1 situations. Bryant handled the ball confidently. He knocked down shots consistently but also showed that he can attack the basket and finish in traffic.
NATE LACEY | 6’4 SF | SHERWOOD ’20
One of the biggest stock risers from today’s event had to be Nate Lacey. He is a high level athlete with a tremendous motor. Lacey plays the right way and has all the intangibles that coaches love.
QUINTON MINCEY | 6’6 F | ELEANOR ROOSEVELT ’20
Mincey has already committed to Mount St. Mary’s, but you have to admire the fact that he came out to compete among his peers. One of the things he did really well was see the floor. Mincey has fantastic playmaking potential and it will be interesting to see how that develops over time.
DAVID NWANKWO | 6’5 F | TAKOMA ACADEMY ’20
The first thing that stood out about Nwankwo today was his willingness to dig in and defend. He protected the rim with pride and hit the boards with purpose. Offensively, he got to the basket at will and didn’t mind contact.
RYAN PRATHER JR. | 6’3 G | CLAKRSBURG ’21
We continue to see evidence of the work that Ryan Prather Jr. is putting in, and this is evident by how his skill set continues to develop. He can score in a number of different ways with either hand and he does so in an efficient manner.
MARK RACHIC | 6’2 G | CALVERT ’21
Rachic showed today that he can impact the game in a number of ways on both ends of the court. He is a vigilant defender, both on and off the ball, who understands the importance of communication. Rachic can do a little bit of everything offensively. Whether it’s shoot, facilitate, get to the basket, seek contact, or finish with either hand in traffic.
MARTYNAS SABALIAUSKAS | 6’6 F | SAINT JAMES ’20
Sabaliauskas might be far from a finished product, but he showed plenty of promise today. He is a good inside-out scoring threat with good size at 6’6+, and has really nice touch. Sabaliauskas is also a good team defender who is very vocal while on the court.
TYRAE WASHINGTON | 6’6 F | TAKOMA ACADEMY ’20
In terms of unsigned seniors, Tyrae Washington was the best of the bunch, and by a wide margin. He has so much untapped potential given his blend of size, athleticism, and budding skill. Washington’s best days of ball are clearly ahead of him, and we’re excited to see him continue to develop.
