Brody Whitaker – 6’2 SG 2021 – Greencastle
Brody is one of the more intriguing players in this 2021 class. He’s very similar to Hayden Langkabel (2018 guard from Morristown) with his frame and skillset. He’s one of my top breakout candidates this high school season. It starts this weekend.
Colson Montgomery – 6’4 SF 2021 – Southridge
Colson is no longer playing football so we were able to sneak him in this weekend and the hope is for him to dominate. He’s the type who can go DI for multiple sports and with basketball he just needs a little more visibility. He should be a standout this weekend.
Dorian Harris – 6’3 SG 2021 – Merrillville
Dorian transferred to Merrillville last year and will now be looking to have a breakout season as an upperclassmen. The big guard has a wide array of skills and can be an impact player. Been a minute since I have seen him live so looking forward to it.
Gavin Herrema – 6’4 SF 2020 – Kankakee Valley
Gavin is a new name that popped up during the Spring with SYF 2020. Now, he’s transferred from Covenant Christian and will be one of the players to watch at a new program. Big time shooter who puts up a lot of shots. Will he do that this weekend?
Victor Young – 6’3 SG 2020 – Muncie Central
Victor is one of the few guys that is still in the mix to try and land a higher level offer. Right now he has a slew of NAIA and DII offers but he is looking for that DI program to take a chance. This weekend could help with that if he comes out and takes control of the event.
