Daniel Sykes Birdville Sophomore
Daniel Sykes is a part of Texas’ incredible 2022 class. The shifty 6-foot guard gets to his spots in efficient ways. He’s a sneaky athlete that shows up in explosive plays and rebounding amongst the trees.
Damon Nicholas Duncanville Junior
Nicholas is a great two-way prospect with size and secondary playmaking potential. He held his own against 5-star prospect Keyonte George limiting to three scoring opportunities. As a playmaker, Nichols collapsed the defense with paint touches leading to floaters over the bigs or finding hot shooting perimeter teammates.
Yomi Obefemi Mansfield Summit Senior
Obefemi is a high energy 6-8 forward. His awareness and heart shine through on defense where he’s usually in the right position to make a stop. His physical frame and athleticism make him a strong rebounder and paint protector.
Noel Kabanga Trinity Euless Sophomore
Kabanga is a powerful athlete. In the opening possession of the game, he attempted to throw down a thunderous over a rival big. The bigs athleticism also shows up in his mobility when running the floor.
Carson Holden Lovejoy Junior
Holden is hyperconfident two guard that uses his jump shot to back up his game. Whether on the ball or off the ball he’ll connect at a high rate. At 6-6 he’s a tough cover and uses his athleticism in crafty ways to create space.
Colbie Holiman Red Oak Senior
Senior Colbie Holliman is a bruiser down low. Pushing 6-8 Holliman uses his strength to create space for his post moves. That same strength shows up in his rebounding where he uses it to make space for boards. He’s also a smart outlet passer keeping his eyes down the court for leak outs.
Nathan Corn Keller Senior
Corn is a long stretch big that shots it well at a high clip. He’s mobile on defense and uses it to rebound out of area. He’s not the most athletic, but he offers some paint protection thanks to his IQ.
