Notes on the team
- This year’s Titans formed a squad that has been playing together for quite some time in the Titans program. For the past several years, Page and Boulder senior Tyler Turner have headlined the group. Boyle and Mead’s Trey Ward have also each played six years in the program.
- Over the years, this Gold Team has done quite well locally and nationally but tipped the scales in 2019 with three championships and a 34-4 record.
- This team averaged 17 assists per game, which contributed significantly to the success the Titans had on the hardwood. A very unselfish team and a team that was like a family on and off the court, they averaged 66 points per game.
- Every game a different player would step up and either hit a big shot or make a game-changing play to steer the outcome in the Titans’ favor. Overall, the team shot 37 percent from the 3-point line and 54 percent from 2-point range.
