Luther Burden III 6’0″ Cardinal Ritter: A two-sport standout who has numerous high-level Division I offers in football as a wide receiver, Luther is also a talented shooting guard who is a physical bucket-getter. He played up at the 16U level for Brad Beal Elite during the summer grassroots season. He uses his strength to bully his way to the basket and he has a nice perimeter stroke to go with it. He is also a factor at the defensive end with his physical prowess.
Larry Hughes, Jr. 6’4″ CBC: An emerging young wing player who is rebounding strong from a knee injury suffered during his freshman year. He has a feathery shooting stroke from 3-point range with fluid movement without the ball to go along with his shot. He uses his height well in the low post with a nice turnaround jumper over smaller defenders.
Damien Mayo 6’2″ Chaminade: A physical wing player who earned key varsity minutes as a freshman last season. He broke out in the district playoffs with 18 points and four 3-pointers against Webster Groves. He is an athletic guard who plays big around the basket. He has a nice pull up jumper in the mid-range and can knock down the deep ball.
Carter Harrell 6’3″ Glendale: Talented wing player who enjoyed an excellent freshman season in which he averaged nearly 10 points a game. He has good size and versatility to create matchup problems. He can shoot the basketball from distance and attack the rim off the dribble and score effectively. He can also facilitate with his ball handling and passing skills.
Kristian Davis 6’2″ Christian-O’Fallon: A very skilled shooting guard who stepped in quickly as a freshman and averaged 13 points and five rebounds a game. He has good size and excellent handles, which enables him to create his own shot off the dribble from anywhere. He also shot 36 percent from 3-point range.
Nick Kramer 6’3″ SLUH: A physical young wing player who enjoyed a big summer with the Team Ramey 15U squad. He is an excellent perimeter shooter with range that extends well beyond the 3-point line. He is very good off the catch and it also a very good trail shooter on the break. He uses his size and strength to be an effective ball handler in traffic.
Brandon Mitchell-Day 6’5″ MICDS: An excellent all-around young prospect who excels at multiple positions on the floor. He played point guard for his high school team as a freshman and led his team in nearly every category. He is a very good defender with his size and length to go along with his passing skills and high basketball IQ.
Brennan Lovette 6’4″ DeSmet: A versatile wing player who put together a strong summer with the Knights Basketball Academy during the grassroots season. He is a good facilitator with his ball handling and passing skills. His size enables him to see over the defense. He can also score in the post and knock down perimeter jumpers off the dribble.
Syncere Shaw 6’6″ DuBourg: A long athletic wing player with a good skill set and a big upside to go along with it. He has a quick first step and can cover a lot of space between dribbles with his length. He attacks the basket going left or right with equal effectiveness and he can score with both hands at the rim.
Braden Appelhaus 6’4″ Blue Springs: A slim lefty sharpshooter who can really fill it up from 3-point range. He’s capable of putting up buckets in bunches in long distance when he is in a groove. He also has solid ball handling skills and the ability to drop dimes to open teammates off the dribble.
Teki Chievous 6’3″ Father Tolton: A smooth young wing player with a versatile all-around game. He rebounds well and can go coast to coast off the dribble to the basket. He has solid handles to go along with the ability to knock down jumpers off the dribble.
