Anton Brookshire Anton Brookshire 6'2" | PG Kickapoo | 2021 State #146 Nation MO 6’2″ Kickapoo: An ultra-talented guard who can get buckets and facilitate the offense and do in it in a very creative manner. He’s quick and he can break down defenders with ease and he has 3-point shooting range to boot. He broke out as a sophomore in leading the Chiefs to the Class 5 state quarterfinals and followed up with a big summer with his Yanders Law squad. He already holds several mid-major offers and the high majors are starting to take notice as well.
Steve Strong, Jr. 6’0″ University Academy: A strong, physical point guard who is at his best when he is attacking the basket. He gets downhill and finishes well at the rim, plus he has the mid-range jumper to go along with it. His defensive prowess is also excellent. He had an excellent summer with the MoKan 16U team that qualified for the Peach Jam and will lead one of the top Class 3 teams in the state this upcoming season.
Demarcus Sanford Jr Demarcus Sanford Jr 6'2" | PG St. Louis Christian | 2021 State MO 6’2″ Lift for Life: A long, rangy combo guard who has been coming on strong during the past year. He had a big summer in leading the St. Louis Blazers 16U team to the Final Four of the Prep Hoops Grind Season national tournament in July. He is an excellent 3-point shooter who has improved his all-around playmaking skills as a ball handler and passer. His length and athleticism has also improved his driving game and defensive ability.
Bud Crawford Bud Crawford 6'7" | PF Lee's Summit | 2021 State MO 5’10″ Kearney: A talented offensive combo guard who helped lead Marcus Denmon Elite to the 16U championship of the UA Rise Circuit during the grassroots season. He has also been a stalwart in Kearney’s starting lineup since his freshman year. He is a plus 3-point shooter with the ability to move without the ball and create off the dribble. He is very confident with the ball and off the ball as well.
Thomas Redmond Thomas Redmond 6'4" | SG DeSmet | 2021 State MO 6’4″ DeSmet: A talented big point guard who had a big summer with the Larry Hughes Basketball Association. He uses his size to his advantage with pinpoint passing over the top of the defense. He is strong on the dribble and can get to the spots to make plays on a consistent basis. He is a good 3-point shooter who can also stop and pop from the mid-range. His height also is a plus as a rebounding guard.
Xavier Sykes Xavier Sykes 5'9" | PG Rock Bridge | 2021 State MO 5’7″ Rock Bridge: A small combo guard who plays very big with his high motor and ability to get buckets in a variety of ways. He is a fearless scorer who attacks the rim and scores on twisting drives and short jumpers in the land of the trees. The lefty plays with very good pace in transition and can knock down pull up jumpers from the mid-range area and 3-point line.
Quran Taylor 6’1″ University Academy: A strong penetrating point guard who had an excellent summer for a Marcus Denmon Elite 16U team that went undefeated in the Under Armour circuit in the grassroots season. When it comes to going downhill on the drive, he is as good as it gets as he is strong on the dribble and will take the contact and score and get the And 1.
Logan Applegate 6’1″ Nevada: A talented combo guard who can stroke the 3-pointer and stuff the stat sheet in the process. He is an excellent perimeter shooter who is very good off the catch, but he can handle the ball and pass it very effectively. He is a solid rebounder from the guard position and he can also create turnovers with his ability to get into the passing lanes and be in the right spots on defense.
Trevone Love Trevone Love 4'0" | C MO 6’0″ Vashon: A transfer from Jennings, Love is a quick floor leader with slick handles and the ability to get into the lane and score at the rim. He can change directions while at full speed and drop off defenders on his way to the basket for easy layups. His passing skills are very good and he is very effective with the short jumpers and floaters. He will add even more backcourt help to a very talented Vashon team.
Ilyaas Harris 5’11″ Cardinal Ritter: A very quick and versatile floor general who has the ability to create offense for himself and his teammates. He is very good in the pick and roll as he can get downhill to score in the lane or he can stop and pop and knock down perimeter jumpers. Biscuit will also drop a nice dime to the rolling post player to set him up for an easy basket. He does a nice job of accelerating in the transition game to quicken the tempo.
Colby Baggett Colby Baggett 6'2" | PG Lee's Summit West | 2021 State MO 6’2″ Lee’s Summit West: A long slender floor general who played with a talented YOBO 16U team, where he was able to showcase his slick handles and ability to get into the lane and make plays. He is very smooth off the dribble and can drop dimes to open teammates for layups and open jumpers. His pull up jumper in the lane is also very effective.
