He is strong with good moves around the basket and the ability to attack the offensive boards. As a junior, he averaged 13.8 points and seven rebounds in helping the Panthers to a berth in the Class 5 state quarterfinals.
Ethan Kilgore 6’6″ East Buchanan: The versatile combo forward has been putting up big numbers at East Buch since his freshman year, but he was also a stalwart for KC Run GMC’s 17U team that won two big tournaments in July. He is an excellent playmaker who can pass the ball while also being able to score at all three levels.
Blessin Kimble 6’6″ Charleston: A dynamic power forward who plays with a high motor at both ends of the court at all times. Dalton Gayman 6’5″ Nevada: The physical lefty forward recently gave a verbal commitment to Arkansas-Fort Smith. He is also a capable ball handler who will drop a dime to an open teammate.
Grant Stubbs 6’5″ Liberty: A solid post player who has developed his all-around offensive game. He is an excellent 3-point shooter who can operate in the pick and pop, but he is also strong enough to handle himself in the post with good moves and a nice shooting touch. He has attracted the interest of many Division II schools.
Riley Naeger 6’7″ Festus St. Pius: A versatile big who can score in the post, but he is also a capable playmaker who can handle the ball and drop dimes to open teammates. He has a nice turnaround jumper and he can knock down 15 footers off the dribble. As a junior, he averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and three assists in leading St. Pius to a 20-8 record.
Evan Worley 6’7″ Hillsboro: A capable Stretch 4 who helped the SI Select to the AAU 17U National Championship. He has a nice touch off the glass in the paint and he can step out and knock down 3-pointers off the catch. He has good mobility and can run the court. He averaged 11 points and seven rebounds in helping the Hawks to a Class 4 district championship.
Matt Schark 6’5″ Francis Howell: The thick combo forward is headed to Jefferson College to play baseball, but he is also an All-State performer on the basketball court. He is a unique player with a strong low-post game and a delicate shooting touch from 3-point range. He averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and shot 40 percent from 3-point range to lead the Vikings to the Class 5 Final Four.
Mike Skoff 6’4″ DeSmet: A tough combo forward who is a strong glue guy with a solid skill set. He did a great job shooting the 3-pointer during the month of July. Ryan Dabney 6’5″ Milan: A Class 2 standout who plays an excellent all around game for one of the top small schools in the state.
