Brandon Perez, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame
One of the better set shooters in the 2022 class showed now dip in consistency from deep. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off and has plenty of range behind the arc. It was good to see Perez be more comfortable moving without the ball and knock down mid-range jumpers in addition to his 3-point stroke.

Daniels, who is a 2023 prospect, was a late arrival to the event and thus played in the top 2022 game. Daniels showed no fear against players a grade above him and honestly was one of the better all-around players in the game. The 6-foot-2 guard has the vision, passing ability and feel to play the point guard spot, but has the scoring chops to play off the ball when needed.
Sam Slutske, Crossroads
Slutske is of the high IQ combo guard mold. He’s a steady ball handler who doesn’t over handle or try to do too much and makes the simple pass/read to an open teammate. Slutske showed the ability to knock down an open catch-and-shoot 3-pointer to spread the defense for a drive and kick or layup if the opportunity was there.
Tajavis Miller, Servite
One of the stronger and tougher point guards in SoCal’s 2022 class. Miller stands a legitimate 6-foot-3 with a chiseled 185-pound frame that he uses to overpower defenders en route to paint buckets. Miller has continued to improve his perimeter shot and looks more confident pulling it off the bounce.
Tookey Wigington, Sierra Canyon
Wigington is a pesky, smart and tough on-ball defender. He creates havoc with his relentless pursuit of the ball and quick hands which he uses to strip ball handlers and take the other way for easy transition buckets. While on the smaller side height-wise, Wigington plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor which allows him to be a consistent playmaker.
