Become Legendary Fall League Starts Sunday
The Become Legendary Fall League has become a fixture on Sundays at Jefferson High School in Portland and this year should be no different. Now in it’s 7th year, the league will feature some of the state’s top 6A squads with a couple of strong Vancouver teams coming south down I-5 to participate.
Both members of last year’s 6A title game will be in the field with host and runner-up Jefferson and state champ Jesuit both in the fold. Grant, Lake Oswego, and Oregon City also made the state tournament last season and Barlow, Gresham, Sprague, Sunset, and Tualatin were also in the playoffs. Clackamas and Mountainside should be in the post-season hunt and defending 2A champion Western Christian will be in house. Battle Ground and Skyview are the two teams coming down from the Couv to play and both will be Washington state tournament challengers.
The level of individual talent this year is very high with prospects such as Kaden Perry (Battle Ground, Gonzaga commit), Nate Rawlins-Kibonge (Jefferson, Washington State commit), Ben Gregg (Clackamas), Kam Robinson (Jefferson), and star freshman Marquis “Mookie” Cook (Jefferson) all with Division I offers. No game will be easy in this league nor devoid of ability.
The action begins on Sunday, September 22 with all games taking place at Jefferson High School. The full schedule can be seen here.
