Now lets explain what I mean by ‘cool’. We AREN’T talking about a most popular vote or a headcount of friends. When I say cool, I mean someone that can’t be fazed on the basketball court. I’m talking about someone that comes to the gym with an aura. When they walk in, everyone can sense it and turns to look. They play and conduct themselves with an unflappable confidence.
We already looked at 5 seniors that are way cooler than me, so lets take another right to the chin and check out 5 juniors.
So here it is, 5 juniors that are way cooler than me:
Pierre Brooks II (G/F, Detroit Frederick Douglass)
While I struggle to do 1 or 2 things well, Brooks does it all. He’s a great student, a leader, and a star basketball player. His game is well rounded and he’s a high IQ player.
Kobe Bufkin (CG, Grand Rapids Christian)
Ever been or wanted to be a guy that turns everyone’s heads when they walk in a gym? That’s Bufkin. His improvement over the last 2 years has been the talk of the state. Bufkin is a smooth shooting lefty that can score at all 3 levels.
Ty Fortney (PF, Taylor Trillium)
Fortney is like a pop star. He’s created a loyal following of coaches and fans. The ferocious finisher has people waiting and watching for his next big play. Fortney is a legit star that has worked his way into being a Division 1 recruit.
Legend Geeter (F, River Rouge)
Sometimes people ask me to do things and I simply can’t. If Geeter’s coach asks him to do something, it’s done. Play point-forward? He can do it. Defend in the paint? Geeter’s got it. Get a bucket? Just give him the ball.
Foster Wonders (SF, Iron Mountain)
I’ve always wanted to be a legend. Wonders is on a pace to be an up north legend. He’s as tough as nails and is a multi level scorer. Enjoy watching him, because someday we’ll be telling his story to the next generation.
