On the 22nd, the Top 250 Expo will travel back to Virginia where it will take place at Riverbend High School. In anticipation of the upcoming expos in the area, we’re in the process of highlighting 30 prospects who benefited respectively from last year’s local showcases. Today, we take a look at 2019 guard Chinguun Ganbold of W.T. Woodson.
PRE-CAMP
Ganbold had been a standout in the W.T. Woodson program at all levels, but really broke out during the Capitol Hoops Summer League prior to camp. The skilled lefty showcases supreme confidence and the ability to score from all three levels on a consistent basis.
DURING CAMP
It did not take long for Ganbold to turn heards during last year’s event. The southpaw sharpshooter showed that he could create his own shot and keep defenders off balance with his wide arsenal of moves.
POST-CAMP
College coaches took note of Ganbold’s performance and begain actively recruiting him. Not long after his breakout senior campaign, he committed to Hampden-Sydney College of the ODAC.
