There is an emerging star in Orlando and his name is Ven Allen-Lubin.

The 2022 6'6", 190-pounder was a key asset in Orlando Christian Prep's attempt at a third consecutive Class 3A state title this past March. Allen-Lubin had nine points, eight rebounds and two blocks in the 50-48 state championship loss to Tallahassee St. John Paul II. OCP played without a senior a season ago, but now have a plethora of rising talents and versatile pieces to work with in the revamped Class 2A.

Allen-Lubin broke down his freshman campaign and looked toward this upcoming season.

"My freshmen year, I matured mostly on rebounding, scoring, and communication," he told Prep Hoops. "This year, I’m looking forward to getting my teammates involved, being a team player because I’m not too big on being a scorer, anybody could put the ball in the hoop, but when you start talking, communicating and getting them involved on both sides of the court, it’ll be tough to stop us."

This summer proved to be an instrumental one for him as he played with Team Parsons CP25.
