Today, we’ll be covering the middle tier prospects in 2020 and 2021. These prospects are mid-major locks with the potential to go higher.
Adrame Diongue 6’10 2022 F Chaparral
Adrame has the potential to become a high major prospect but I think he needs more time to develop before slapping that label on him. I saw him and even got to coach him at the Southwest All-American Camp. He has a super high ceiling but is still super raw. Let’s wait and see how Adrame develops!
Mekhi Mason 6’2 2022 G Chandler
Mekhi Mason is a super well rounded guard. He has really solid play making ability and I really love his defensive game. He can score without a doubt but I think he is best suited as a play making guard. He makes some ridiculous reads and passes.
Nate Pickens 6’1 2022 G Paradise Honors
Pickens has really impressed me this summer. During The Grind Show, Pickens put on an absolute show! He demonstrated his great scoring ability and showed his 3 point shot. Pickens will easily go mid-major in my opinion and has potential to go higher based off development.
Cody Williams 6’2 2023 G Perry
I love Williams game. He plays very similar to older brother, Jalen Williams (Santa Clara). Cody can already shoot it from deep super effectively. I can easily see him turning into a big time prospect by the time his high school career is over. He is already 6’2 and is only going to grow. Imagine if he gets to 6’5-6’7 and can knock down the 3 ball like he does?!
