Some will be added since they were not in the state yet like mega stars Mike Foster and Keon Edwards from Hillcrest and Arthur Kaluma from Dream City Christian.
Here are 7 seniors that can rise up in the rankings:
Andre Harris PF 6’7 Hillcrest Prep (Currently 11)
-Saw him play recently in practice in a full out scrimmage vs a loaded roster and came away impressed. He leaned out and just looked more crisp with his skills and the way he moved. It wouldn’t shock me to see him jump up near the top-5.
Jabari Walker PF 6’7 AZ Compass Prep (Currently 15)
-Son of Samaki Walker keeps adding to his game. He is now very comfortable from the 3pt line and he looks better every viewing.
Griffin Lamb C 6’8 Gilbert (Currently 55)
-Missed an entire year of basketball and then some due to a multitude of injuries. He is reportedly almost 100% back and looking better. He will be very important for the defending state Champions ability to challenge Millennium, Sunnyslope and Ironwood, since he has legit size.
Justice Marmara SG 6’3 Millennium (N/A)
-A transfer from Texas has a strong game. He played with an all star team at the ASU HS team camp and was impressive. He will move into the rankings on the next update. Probably somewhere in the Top-50 range depending on how he performs for the odds on favorite Tigers.
Armani Williams SG 6’1 McClintock (Currently 80)
-Another player who was injured at the end of the HS season. He missed an entire off season of hoops and is already throwing down thunderous dunks at practices. He truly is a freak athletically and if he can add some skill with it, watch out!
Aidan Blaylock SF 6’6 Sunrise Mountain (Currently 98)
-Had a very good off season but has found his bounce this early fall. He had a nice growth spurt with over an inch at close to 6’7. He is all of a sudden dunking effortlessly in games. He has always had good size, length and skill, but now you give him added athleticism and he may move up dramatically in the rankings.
Matthew Whisler PG 6’1 Chaparral (Currently 112)
-A true late bloomer, who has never started a varsity game, looks to break out. He started at Section-7 and looked the part with a high IQ, good skill level and played the right way. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him jump up 20-30 spots in the rankings with a big year!
