He decided to go the D2 route and is attending Tusculum University which is a program that always competes with the top D2 programs nationally.
Grace Christian Guard Nate Yow: He’s a Player that we have gotten the chance to see develop since he was a middle school player and he’s grown by leaps and bounds. He has a nice feel for the game , is a natural leader on the court and has shown the gift of passing and shooting at a high level. Expect to see him running the show at Sandhills CC sooner than later.
Freedom Christian Forward Dusan Dordevic: He’s only been in the state of NC for a short amount of time but his skillset and overall talent has been clear. He has good size and will be a player that the staff at Union should be able to use early on.
Northwest Halifax Wing Toyaz Solomon: A very intriguing prospect , Solomon fits the mold of the new look Wing/stretch forward that has the height and wingspan. He will need to add some muscle to his upper body and has decided to a Post Grad year at Combine Academy to try and work on his body as well as showcase his ability to more colleges.
WOGCA Forward Trevon Spencer: He’s a player that we have had the chance to watch closely over the last few years and he has grown in a nice way. 6’6 with a long wingspan and some athletic ability , he’s only scratching the surface of how good he can really be.
Trinity of Durham Wing Marcotis Hall: One of the sleeper prospects in the state, he is talented and doesn’t do much talking on the court. He’s decided to do a post grad year to attempt to boost his recruitment as well as helping to gain some more exposure.
Havelock HS Forward Jermaine Vereen: He’s still a project player in some areas but he has plenty of upside and potential that could be realized if he puts in the right amount of work. He will be doing two years of Junior College basketball at Johnston Community College and should get some nice interest as he finishes his time.
