Fayetteville Academy Forward Williams Onyeodi is headed to Coker College in SC after a nice high school career in NC. The 6’5 Forward plays the game with a high motor and has the chance to be a double/double guy on a nightly basis.
FTCC cleaned up recruitment wise when they landed 4 ENC standout players. Green Central Forwards Jekael Gay & Donte Johnson along with South Central Guard Raquan Vann and Pamlico County Guard George Jones will all play for the Trojans.
KIPP Pride Guard Tarik Adams will play out his college career in the CIAA as he attends Elizabeth City State. He’s a strong Guard that can score the ball at a nice level and is only getting better as time goes on.
Wayne Country Day Guard Marcus Metcalf is headed to Lenior Rhyne after helping to lead his high school team to a deep state run. He’s a freakish athlete who had a highlight dunk that went viral but he’s more than just a leaped as he has only gotten better as an all-around player.
EJ Bethea had picked up some college interest but will do a post graduate year at Moravian Prep to attempt to build his recruitment some more. He has a nice skillet , can shoot the ball well and has gotten better each year since we have begun to watch him.
Southern Lee Guard Khalil Ridges will be another player that plays his college career in the CIAA. Chowan came along later in the process and got a commitment from him. Ridges was a player that was consistent just about all year long, and brings effort on both ends of the floor.
Pender High Guard Chance Poole took his talents to Johnston Community College and is apart of one of the better recruiting classes the college has had. Poole is a facilitator PG that has a gift for finding teammates and completing some difficult passes.
